What a day, what a day! Where do we begin? From the engagement session last year that we did at Love Park (that turned to Christmas Village, since the session took place in December), it was clear that the wedding day will be amazing. Darrius and Jessie have this incredible chemistry and are so perfect for each other. Then Covid happened and forced them to reschedule their wedding to a later date, which turned out to be rather a positive thing – it gave us another opportunity to work with Jessie. She booked Maria for a boudoir session as a wedding gift for Darrius, and oh how he was surprised by the album, he got the morning of the wedding.
The wedding day started at the Courtyard by Marriott in Westampton, where girls and guys were getting ready in separate rooms. Jessie had an enjoyable morning with confetti and a first look for her bridesmaids! She also received a beautiful gift from Darrius.
Our couple wanted to do a first look before the ceremony, so they reserved time at Smithville Park. This location is beautifully landscaped but also meaningful to them as they had multiple dates there.
Ceremony and reception took place at Falls Manor in Bristol, PA. Jessie and Darrius exchanged vows they written to each other during the ceremony, had a sand ceremony with their kids, a heartfelt prayer with all their friends and family, and jumped over the broom.
Once they entered the reception, they took a moment to have a candlelit ceremony for Darruis’es mother, who was with them in spirit. The ballroom looked incredible with so many details like candles. elegant champagne flutes, uplighting, matching linens. We loved the blush color for the sweetheart table overlay. All of those were provided by the venue for the convenience of couples – the attention to detail and the quality of service at Falls Manor are unparalleled! Couple’s table also had a lush centerpiece with fresh flowers from Ne Flower Boutique. It perfectly matched Jessies wedding bouquet and bridesmaids flowers. The combination of purple, blush pink and wine red colors were on point!
As the party started, there were lots of dancing, more beautiful portraits, cake cutting and tossing of the bouquet and garter. Jessie and Darruis had a doughnut wall, which was super cute (and sweet!). The perfect ending to the night was the sparkler exit and a vintage Rolls-Royce car that was waiting for them outside.
It was an EPIC wedding, unforgettable and perfect. Congratulations to our couple! May you have 100+ happy anniversaries filled with so much love and joy as you had on your wedding day!
