In past years we have photographed over 300 weddings, ranging from very intimate (as small as elopement of only two people) to multiple day events with over 300 guests.

During your consultation, we go over the most important details and create a perfect wedding timeline for your wedding. Approximately 60 days before the wedding, you will receive a link to an online questionnaire that will go over times/locations/addresses/important people and a few other questions. We ask you to fill out that questionnaire as thoroughly as possible. Then we do a final phone chat 5-7 days before the event to confirm the schedule and address any last-minute changes (if any).

Yes! To make your wedding complete and perfect, we have the most talented team of cinematographers, who will create a masterpiece movie of your special day. As you may know, the cinematography is different from videography and requires a lot more experience and professionalism. We are proud of our cinema team - they are a perfect addition to our creative talent. Their style of filming shows all the love and raw emotions, all happy moments, crazy epic dance action, and lots of romance.
We offer hourly collections as well as our most popular all-inclusive package. All collections/packages include high-resolution edited and color-corrected photographs from your wedding, delivered to you via password-protected online gallery. We also include a custom USB flash drive as an additional back up for your digital photographs.
Engagement sessions are lots of fun. Our all-inclusive package has an engagement session “built in”, and with hourly collections, engagement session could be added a-la-cart. If you just want to see how we work, you could book the engagement session separately with no strings attached to book the wedding. See how comfortable and happy we’ll make you feel during the session – it’s a perfect “test run” to get to know us better, and become confident that we are a good fit for your wedding.
Absolutely! You just need to select your favorite photographs (or you could leave it up to us!), and we’ll do everything else. Our album layouts are custom made based on your taste, and we offer a wide variety of covers (genuine leather, glass, photo cover, etc.). When you come in for a complimentary consultation, you see all the options for our luxury wedding albums.
All of our wedding photography packages include color-corrected and enhanced photographs, as well as minor retouching on close-up portraits (when needed).
Awesome! To reserve your wedding date, we require a signed agreement and a 20% retainer at the time of booking. We can sign a contact at our studio in Huntingdon Valley, PA, or send you an electronic agreement.
To reserve your wedding date, we ask for a 20% retainer. It is due when you sign your contract. The rest of the balance is due 30 days prior to your wedding day.
Yes. As part of accepting card payments through Square, we also offer payment plans through their affiliate Square Installments.
For weddings within 50-mile radius of our Huntingdon Valley studio, there is no travel fee involved. Weddings beyond that may include a $50/hour travel fee (that covers gas, mileage, tolls, time). Destination weddings or weddings that would require us to stay overnight would need to be discussed on a case-by-case basis, but generally, we will book our accommodations, and you can reimburse us.
Smaller, intimate weddings with just one photographer are perfect. Larger (100+ guests and/or 10+ wedding party) weddings would require two photographers. There are also other essential factors to consider, and we would be happy to discuss the options with you during your consultation. Our cinematography team is always two people, regardless of the event size. On some occasions, we also bring an assistant.
We have worked at many beautiful locations in and all around Philadelphia, so most likely YES, we’ve been at your venue before. If we are unfamiliar with your venue, we will be happy to do extensive research in advance to find the best photo spots before your wedding day.
We use top of the line Canon gear, as well as professional lighting equipment (for those gorgeous intimately lit receptions, and extensive back-up equipment for your peace of mind! We also have liability insurance for your venue. Per request from the facility, we gladly will forward them a copy via email/fax approximately 30 days prior to your event.
We take weddings very seriously – its not an event that could be rescheduled (typically), so rest assured, we take great responsibility and measures to avoid any issues. When you book your wedding with ProPhoto by MK, you secure not just your lead photographer, but also as a backup we always keep another photographer on-call in case of a rare emergency. That is one of many advantages of having not a sole photographer, but a team in place – in case of a serious emergency with your photographer, we have your back. We will immediately send in a replacement from our team of talented artists who work and shoot in the same style.
In addition to our team, ProPhoto by MK is fortunate to be in a group of talented professional photographers of PA, NJ, and NY, to whom we could reach out for assistance to find someone with the similar style and qualifications to step up in case of a rare extreme situation.
Yes, we will be glad to use your list of requested photos on the day of the wedding. If it’s in our power, we’ll make them happen! Of course, this does not mean we stop there! We will be creating a lot of other beautiful photographs beyond your “required” ones as your wedding day unfolds. Also, keep in mind that your wedding is unique and way better than those staged Pinterest images!
It takes about eight weeks to process your wedding photographs, and we’ll send you a link to the password-protected online gallery. Once you approve your proofs, we will put your full resolution, watermark-free wedding photos on a thumb drive, and mail it to you. We also offer an express turnaround time for an additional fee.
We love to rave about weddings! We will create a super awesome post on Facebook within a week after your wedding! You’ll be able to tag all your friends dancing and having fun, and best of all you get to see your photos from your Big Day in no time! We also will put a blog post together with our favorite images from your wedding sometime shortly after as well. For those who prefer to be “off the grid” – no worries, just let us know at the time of booking that you would rather keep your photographs private, and we won’t post them publicly!
