The sun was shining brightly on this beautiful day, which was a perfect match for this lovely couple. Bussaya and Josh were so adorable and in love, making our job as photographers a dream. We captured every smile, every laugh, and every tender moment.
One of the unique things about this wedding was the mix of cultures. Bussaya is originally from Malaysia, and even though her family couldn’t be there, Josh’s father walked her down the aisle and had a father-daughter dance with her. It was a touching moment that symbolized the love and connection between families, regardless of distance or culture.
To show his commitment to Bussaya’s culture, Josh learned Malay, which was an incredible gesture that made Bussaya and her family feel loved and appreciated. Being able to communicate with her relatives in their native language was undoubtedly a heartfelt experience.
The ceremony itself was a traditional Jewish ceremony because Josh and his family are Jewish. The Huppa, under which the couple had the ceremony, was adorned with traditional Malaysian textiles and beautiful flowers, making it a unique and memorable setting.
The reception was full of energy and excitement, thanks to the live band that kept everyone on their feet. We captured some amazing shots of the guests dancing and having a great time.
