Capturing Veronika and Raymond’s Romantic South Gate Manor Wedding in Freehold, New Jersey was a dream come true. From getting ready to first look, ceremony and reception, we were able to capture everything (+ more) at this gorgeous venue and celebrate these two in a special way!
Let’s go back to the beginning. They spotted each other while out for a night with friends on Memorial Day Weekend of 2016. Veronika’s best friend was a little Cupid and she approached Raymond. He then introduced himself and they hit it off from there. Their first date was a romantic walk on the beach. They enjoyed walking and talking to each other for hours and had such a great connection. Raymond proposed on May 27,2019. They were planning to go to their favorite spot at the beach. Little did Veronika know, he already asked for her hand in marriage to her parents. Veronika said, “As I was opening the door, thinking we were heading to the beach, I saw Raymond and his family outside. I was really confused haha but then I saw him getting on one knee. At that point, I knew that he was the one! It’s funny because the very first night I met Raymond , I told my best friend that he is my soulmate and I was right!”
Wedding planning was fun for them but tough when covid 19 hit. They moved plans and changed some things, but it all worked out—(we are so glad it did)!! They chose the venue because they loved the food! Not only that, but it’s beautiful, elegant, and suited them so well! They also had a great connection with the owner, Chris. The ProPhoto by MK team loved working with their staff throughout the day as well. As you’ll see below the pink, white and gold decor, floral arrangements and special touches felt timeless and romantic as ever. During the reception, there were even some amazing traditional dances performed by a couple from Russia. There was a blend of cultures to include some fun, latin music, played by the DJ, as well. The cake cutting couldn’t be more perfect, with the stunning display. This elegant and summery wedding was definitely one to remember.
